VFW Post 9965 in Yalesville is seeking donations of items for its care packages for US troops stationed overseas--items can be dropped offf at the post from 1-9 p.m. daily at 424 Church Ave in Yalesville.

East Wallingford Volunteer Fire Department will serve as a drop off point for the Care Packages for Marines Project. Items may be brought in any Tuesday to the firehouse at 2 Kondracki Lane in Wallingford. A complete list of items may be obtained at www.thecarepackageproject.com/needs-list
